Glass pips Priddis on a comeback in West Coast's spine-tingling vote count

What a nail-biter!

West Coast's prestigious best and fairest award couldn't have been any more exciting.

Captain Darren Glass has beaten Matty Priddis on a comeback after both finished on 398 votes.

Full back Glass played one less game than midfielder Priddis - 24 and 25 respectively.

Incredibly, ruckman Dean Cox finished just one vote behind on 397.

Shannon Hurn was fourth of 374 votes with Luke Shuey making up the top five on 359 votes.

Then followed Adam Selwood on 342, Nic Naitanui 338, Andrew Embley 333, Mark Nicoski 333 and Scott Selwood 332.

Josh Kennedy was leading goalkicker with Luke Shuey winning the rookie of the year award.

Brett Jones won the Chris Mainwaring Medal (best clubman).
