No surprises as Milburn calls it quits with the Cats

Geelong's 2007, '09 premiership star Darren "Dasher" Milburn has decided to hang up the boots.

The 34-year-old was left disappointed after missing selection in this year's finals series.

He played 292 games with the Cats with only Ian Nankervis (325 games) and John "Sam" Newman (300 games) playing more games.

Milburn played in 181 wins which is a club record.

Triple premiership player and 2011 flag captain Cameron Ling retires on grand style.

Two-time premiership player Cameron Mooney has also called it quits.

Also a one-time premiership with North Melbourne, Mooney couldn't break into the senior line-up during the finals.

Mooney was thrilled to see strong-marking forward Tom Hawkins play so well in the finals, especially in the second half of the grand final.
