Grant Hansen
Host of the Marngrook Radio Show for 10 years building a keen audience and collecting National awards. Hosted out of 3CR in Melbourne and across Australia on the National Indigenous Radio Service. Grant has also worked in television hosting three series of the award winning 'Songlines in the City' on Channel 31 and was a reporter on 'Songlines' on the ABC. He is the first indigenous caller of AFL Football and currently calls games for NIRS.
Gilbert Mc Adam
Gilbert is a former St Kilda and Brisbane Lions
Player with over 100 games experience. He has
coached various teams across the country and is
originally from Alice Springs. He has worked on
CAAMA Radio Sports show covering local and AFL
Football. Over the last 10 years he has been a
regular on the Marngrook Radio Show and he has just
started working with the NIRS
as an expert commentator.

Derek Kickett
As a champion player for the Kangaroos, Essendon
and Sydney Swans, Derek is one of the best known
Indigenous players to have played the game.
Currently employed by the AFL in the Kick Start
Program. Derek has coached in nearly every state
across the country and has worked for the NIRS as a
special comments person and also a regular panelist
on the Marngrook Radio Show.

Alan Thorpe
Alan played with Sydney, Bulldogs and Carlton.
Known as the Journey Man. Has worked on radio for
10 years. Currently appears on the Marngrook Radio
Show and hosts his own AFL Radio show 'The Last
Half' on the Indigenous Radio Station in Melbourne,
3KND. He also runs the AFL/NAB 'Kick-Start' program
in Melbourne with the all Aboriginal team the
Fitzroy Stars. More recently, one of the assistant
coaches of the AFL All-Stars
team.

Ronnie Burns
Originally from the TIWI Island, Ronnie first made
a name for himself at Geelong as an exciting goal
kicker. After several seasons at Geelong he
finished his Career in Adelaide with the Crows. He
is currently coaching in Victoria with Berwick. He
has worked on the NIRS AFL Call as a special
comments person and also he has been a regular on
the Marngrook Radio show. Has also has previous
television experience on the Fox Footy
show.

Leila Gurruwiwi
Leila
was originally from Elcho Island and Milingimbi, NE
Arnhem Land. She has lived in Victoria for most of
her life. She did Radio & Media training and
presentation training at SEIMA. Leila is a keen
Member of the Western Bulldogs and goes to games
every weekend. Leila successfully completed news
presenter screen tests and now brings a welcome
female perspective to the Marngrook AFL Footy
Show.

Emily Fien
Emily shares duties with Leila - co hosting the news segments as well as her weekly tips. She is a proud Yorta Yorta descendant and proudly supports the Bombers. She is involved heavily in Indigenous Youth Affairs in Melbourne. This is her first involvement on Television. Both Emily and Leila give a female perspective on AFL football.
Kylie Farmer
Kylie Farmer hails from Western Australia and
supports the Fremantle Dockers. Kylie is an
accomplished actress who appears on National TV and
Stage. She is related to the great Polly Farmer and
current Fremantle star, Jeff Farmer.
Kylie joins the Marngrook team for 2008
and will be seen reading news, interviewing
players and in the
180 Segment.
She
joins Leila and Emily as positive role models for
Indigenous women.

Sean Braybrook
Sean features on Marngrook as a roving reporter
doing interviews on the Marngrook Wanderers and the
Marngrook Deadly Players segments. He is a former
player with Melton South and has Coached Braybrook
and the Aboriginal all-star team, The Fitzroy
Stars. Sean has an extensive knowledge of football
and proudly supports the Essendon Football
Club.
